Local public health services at risk amid funding uncertainty
The LGA is calling on the Government to urgently publish the Public Health Grant funding allocations. Time is running out for councils to set budgets and spending plans and to make critical decisions on renewing contracts for vital public health services.
DePoLARiZE (Delivering Port of Liverpool-Associated Road freight Zero Emissions)
The project aimed to identify potential practical measures for decarbonising freight traffic and to convene relevant stakeholders in transforming freight mobilities to and from the Port of Liverpool, so as to kickstart an ongoing process for collaborative and effective action on this challenging issue.
This roundtable provided the opportunity to celebrate the projects supported by the Estate Regeneration Fund, as well as reflections and learning on estate regeneration, approaches to place making policy and delivery.
